The FAD high capacity axial fan cooler is designed for high cfm air delivery at the fraction of the cost of a standard centrifugal evaporative cooler. This innovative new design moves the air through a high efficiency 12"celdek media utilizing a state of the art axial or "propeller" type blade blower, greatly reducing the annual operating cost of this unit.
For example: A standard 12" celdek cooler using a centrifugal blower designed to deliver 18000 cfm at .2" external static pressure would require a 5 H.P. motor.
The same unit with 12" celdek using a axial fan blower designed to deliver 18000 cfm at .2" external static pressure would only require a 2 H.P. motor.
